Reading comprehension initial cycle online
For those of you who don’t know the original Time’s up! consists of two teams, in two teams, trying to find more objects or characters than the opposing team in each round (1 minute +-). It is a very funny game that I have already recommended in previous posts about table games.
For those of you who don’t know it, it consists of agreeing on categories or families of words (vegetables, sports, clothes…) that will head the columns. Then choose a letter to start with and place it in the first column. So, in a set time or not, you have to look for a word with the initial letter of each category or family and say STOP! to complete all the columns.

Reading and writing in the first cycle
In this cooperative card game we compete in groups against time. You have to find the objects, animals or professions represented on the cards in at least three different ways. In the first round each player takes a card and has to describe it. The rest of the players have to guess it. In the second round, the same cards must be shuffled again and the card must be described with only one word. In the third round you have to make gestures and if you still have minutes to spare, you can venture into a fourth round identifying the card with a sound, song or sip. The game can be played in different languages.
This wooden construction game challenges children to build a bridge or ladder so that the knight and the princess can be together. The 48 challenges have four levels of difficulty to turn first builders into future architects.
We have a ghost, an armchair, a vial, a book and a mouse. For turns the players turn over cards. The game consists of deciphering whether the situation represented on the card is true or false. There are always two images represented on the card. And now you have to reason: is there any element represented the same as the objects on the table? Is there any different element? The players have to try to get the object that matches in everything, even the color, with the one shown on the card. If there is no object that meets the requirements, the players must take the one that does not appear on the card and does not match the color. The player who gets the card right wins the turn and a card as a reward.
